GF and Fincantieri extend partnership on sustainable water solutions

GF Piping Systems has extended its collaboration with Fincantieri Shipyards, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of flow solutions for the marine industry.

For over two decades, GF Piping Systems has partnered with Fincantieri Shipyards, a global leader in passenger shipbuilding, to deliver sustainable water solutions that enable the safe and efficient transport of water, gas, and chemicals at sea. Through its industry expertise, GF has helped Fincantieri reduce environmental impact and improve naval system efficiency.

GF's extensive product portfolio has continuously met Fincantieri's evolving needs for scalability and adaptability. Among these solutions is the Sanipex MT system – a multilayer piping solution for distributing drinking water, as well as riser systems and connection lines for heating, cooling, and compressed air applications – which Fincantieri has trusted for years due to its reliability and efficiency.

Under the extended agreement, GF Piping Systems remains the primary supplier of hot and cold water, cooling, and ballast water piping systems for all new builds and retrofits at Fincantieri’s eighteen shipyards worldwide. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing innovation, promoting sustainability, and achieving excellence in marine operations.
