Shareholders of Georg Fischer Ltd approve all Board proposals
A total of 1 039 shareholders and 1 944 771 shareholder votes were present at the former iron foundry in Schaffhausen. This presence corresponds to 69.07% of the shareholder votes entered in the share register with voting rights.
The Annual Shareholders’ Meeting approved all proposals regarding compensation including the 2015 Compensation Report as well as the future maximum compensation of both Board and Executive Committee. It also approved the distribution of a dividend amounting to CHF 18 per share (previous year CHF 17).
Riet Cadonau new member of the Board
After serving on the Board for 18 years, Ulrich Graf is stepping down upon reaching the statutory retirement age. Andreas Koopmann, Chairman of the Board, warmly thanked Ulrich Graf for his many years of fruitful services at GF and wished him all the very best. Riet Cadonau, CEO of the dorma+kaba Group, Rümlang (Switzerland), was elected as new member of the Board of Directors. The eight current members of the Board of Directors were re-elected. Furthermore, Andreas Koopmann was confirmed as Chairman, and the Compensation Committee was elected as proposed.
